PTO Mission
Our PTO mission guides all that we do and provide throughout the school year:
- To bring families together (trunk-or-treat, splash carnival, the end of year picnic)
- To support teachers & staff (school supplies, a school improvement grant, staff meals)
- To enrich the school day (field trips, assemblies, spelling & geography bees, book bowl)
- To celebrate our students (talent show & 5th grade completion ceremony)
- To extend learning (club swimmy & book fair)
- To help fellow Olson students & families (transportation, scholarships & donations)
From your PTO President
Hello Olson Otter Families!
My name is Amanda Kienbaum and I have been given the honor of PTO President beginning for the 2022-2023 school year! My girls started at Olson for the 2021-2022 school year and we quickly found our place in the friendly and inviting community. Last year, I was a Board Member - Volunteer Coordinator and assisted with many of the Olson events for Teacher Appreciation, SLASH, and 5th Grade Completion! I am super excited to take over this role this year with the support of Katie and Angie, who shared the President role for the past 3 years. We have many exciting family engagement events planned for this year, and look forward to supporting our AMAZING Olson teachers all year long!
As president, one of my goals is to get as many people involved as possible. I feel so rewarded by what I do, and I want to provide opportunities for everyone to get involved in ways that work with their lives. With more people participating and generating ideas, we can accomplish so much more.
